Seoul Metro Map (New)

This is quite mostly up dated Seoul Metro Map.

From Incheon Airport to Hongik University station, it takes 1hour.

I recommend buying a T-money card(2$ USD) and top up.
T-money is very useful.
Most people use credit card instead T-money,
but for travelers T-money is enough.
(You can spend money in 24 hour convenient store!!!)

Common Ground - Seoul

Konkuk Univ, Line 2

COMMON GROUND

At Konkuk Univ. station Exit.6 (We call it Kondae)
There is a place called Common Ground.

It is filed BLUE CONTAINERS.

This idea came from London. I have seen it near bricklane in London.

It is quite fun at night.

Konkuk University Station Exit 6

Walk about 5min

You will see Blue Containers on your left

They sell fashion items and food.

Inside is COOL ( I mean temperature....)

Food truck is ready all the time.

Enjoy other Kondae area too.

and also near Konkuk station, there are many bars and restaurants open until 5am in the morning.(of course Karaoke too)

It is one of the common place where people have friend meetings.

Right Next to Konkuk Station, there is a Emart and movie cinema.
Big department too!!!!!!

Also Konkuk University is Exit 1.

You can enter anytime.

When University Festival begins they go crazy. haha

Myeong-dong Closest Station

Line 2, Line 4, Myeong-dong

This Blue box is a map of Myeong-dong
and also where people mostly go for shopping and hang out.

When people want to go to Myeong-dong station,
they normally go to Myeong-dong station (Line 4)
EVEN though they are near Myeong-dong area.

I am a Green line user, so I mostly go to Uljiroilga station and get off.

Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station (Seoul Subway Line2) Exit 6. is Myeong-dong also.
(This is how Korean people go to Myeong-dong)

At Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station (Seoul Subway Line2) Exit 7, there is a DUTY FREE department store, called Lotte Department Store.

DDP

I walked near DDP (which stands for Dongdaemun Design Plaza)

and found these people.

They looked over age of 40s but they were on a moving vehicle!!!!

2 of them were on electric machine and a security man was on a segway.

wow

Seoul Subway(Metro) Fare

Metro, SEOUL METRO FARE

Seoul City has raised 1 way metro fare by 20%

One way ticket will be 1250 won.
It was 1050 won until last week.
(Damn...)

It is about 1.10 $ (USD)

I recommend buying T-money card(2$) and top up.

You can also use this card in 24 convenient stores.
